Sooo... Not Me Monday

I suppose I should post a blog lol. Really summer is nearing it's end and its keeping me busy. You know work, life, 3 kids (4 if you count the "daddy aka baby #4"), and all the summer activities!

Alana did not find a butterfly needle (for you non medically inclined people that is a type of needle for blood draws) in the drawer at the doctors office. My odd child did not then request the package be opened and I said no we are not drawing your blood today. She then does not say, blood, blood and points to her arm repeatedly and the next hour tries to get me to open the package. My child is not very very odd, only child I know that would request a blood draw.. sigh.

I did not run out of gas at said Dr.s Appt. My van sucks. If I park at an angle with the front angled down for more then a few minutes and I only have 1/4 tank of gas, my car will not start. It's the third time its happened to me, I usually avoid parking that way but I had very little options in downtown Seattle and construction everywhere. The wife of the dr did not call AAA for me (which I am greatful for but did not ask for, I simply wanted help pushing my van to level ground where it would have started most likely but they didn't want to risk hitting the building or another car doing it, last time I checked the brakes still worked :-P). She also was not more then a little snooty about me not saying thank you before the AAA guy was even there while I was on the phone trying to concentrate on a message that tells you which number to push for this and that and trying to control my children in their office. I said thank you when I was off the phone and the guy was there, but apparently that wasn't good enough. I also did not have all 3 children and it was not 100 degrees outside.

It did not take 4 gallons of gas to start, which is actually better then the 6 gallons it took last time.. damn van and its large gas tank.

I did not end the gas troubles by going to the gas station then to Dick's to get some burgers and fries and sitting in their parking lot with the A/C on full blast while we ate our yummy lunch.

I did not take the girls to a 10pm class at the beach called "pier peer" where they put lights under the pier to attract fish, etc. At this class Alana did not attempt to grab any waterlife we caught and were watching in a bucket. She also did not attempt to get into the water or come THISCLOSE to tossing my camera in the water.

I did not go baby crab hunting at the beach with Kaila the next day and cut my fingers multiple times on barnacles.

I did not let my van get so dirty, full of toys and garbage that the other half took it upon himself to clean it while I was at work.

While he cleaned the van inside he did not fail to clean the bird sh*t off of my window.

I am not contemplating what I am going to do this week during the 3 hours a day the girls are at daycamp?? Any suggestions?

This is not my ghetto version of a double stroller...

Kaila did not ride on Thomas the Train with a friend and her boys and another little friend lol.

I did not clean out my kid's pool that was algae infested and found that it also had little red "worms" in it.. GAG.. Now it is not clean with chlorine added.

We did not find this hanging out around the pool...

Kaila did not lose her baby toenail or the majority of it while I was at work last night.. here's to hoping it grows back! I lost 2 fingernails as a child and they grew back..

She has also not been having nosebleeds EVERY DAY... multiple TIMES A DAY. Seriously I was hoping my children wouldn't take after me in that aspect... talk about flashbacks.

Gasoline did not get spilled in the garage.. onto the baby bassinet which I am keeping in case I ever have another baby and to pass on to my children for their children since all 3 of my kids used it. The other half did not put it in the trash :-X, making me dig it out! I am just glad he didn't break it. I have not tried all the tricks to get the stench out of it and it still stinks.. as does my washing machine...ugh.. so now I am just letting it sit outside in hopes to have nature take care of the smell.


Okay that's all my head hurts, Kaila and I are not sick.. at all.

Is it Monday already??

My son does not love to touch himself any chance he gets.

see...

He has not pee'd all over his bed recently because of his infatuation with his penis.

I did not have to take his bed (a pack n play) outside to wash it down with soapy water to get the urine smell out of it.

I am not going to buy some onesies today for him to wear to sleep so he can't get his hands in his diaper...

Speaking of penises I did not get an email today that said "Get a larger penis for 5.95".. I will not get right on that.

My kids did not pull on a goat's ear or touch where his horns used to be..

I did not finally fold a million 10 loads of clothes that have been sitting on my floor table forEVER.

July is not going to be hectic seriously you should see my google calendar :-X.

My other half was not informed of the closure of his place of employment, they did not close yesterday.

Alana's caregiver did not decide to not show up 3 weeks in a row, nor respond to any of my communications so I am going to assume she has decided to quit and for whatever reason thought it was okay to not tell me.

For those 2 reasons I have not decided to cancel our trip to Portland for the Turner Syndrome Conference in July. The only bright side of this is that there was some great activities planned locally that weekend that we were going to miss but now we can attend!

I did not ask a strange man at the park to stop my fleeing daughter. He did not stop her immediately without a second thought. Most people would not have looked at me like I was nuts. OHHH and a side note he was not good looking!

On another park visit I did not have another even stranger man give me 20$ to get the kids icecream because I was telling them no because I had no cash on me... this guy was not sitting in his car while his whatever she was, was at the park with a toddler. I did not promptly tell the kids never to take money from a stranger... only mommy is allowed to do that lol. My niece did not hand him back the change right when the woman he was with was getting into the car and she did not look at my niece like ummm what is going on here??

I am not dreaming about facebook games/apps. THAT would be insane right? Facebook is also not the reason that my blog has been so slacking lately either. I have decided to blog a few blogs in one day and schedule them for the week so I don't feel "burdened" by my blog over the summer.

I did not update my google calendar for the summer and July is not going to be crazy at all.. really... I only have everyday filled up with 1-4 things I have or want to do.

The pool I set up in the back yard is not full of rocks on the bottom, because in Alana's world water splashing when rocks hit it is just the funnest thing to watch.

You know how bowling lanes are waxed to make you fall on your arse if you happen to chase a un named 7 year old girl down one of them. That didn't happen to me, nor did I land doing the splits. Yeah picture that one.. my fat ass chasing Alana down a bowling lane and falling into the splits. Yeah I feel the burn alright.

Alana did not want a gift wrap ribbon at the store so bad that I had to buy it. She couldn't have just any ribbon in the gift wrap aisle no.. she has to be particular about things and request ONLY the ribbon that is part of a bag, tissue, & ribbon package deal for 4.99. They of course did not have this particular ribbon on sale by itself.. so I did not end up with a silver gift bag.. which good chance it will never be used. She has always had her obsessions but ribbons is the one thing she has always liked to play with plus she did not accidently bite her lip in the cart somehow so I gave in. Well you know the joke could be on me she could have bit herself on purpose.. she's no stranger to it and has done it before to get a band-aid more then once.

Yeah she looks innocent... but looks can be deceiving! Oh and that robe she is toting around is her latest "toy" because it has a string on it that she likes to play with (you see it in her hand).. I swear she is like a cat sometimes. Oh and the robe is Kaila's who has all but had to delinquish it to her sister. Oh and you know that black shirt from the M Bar C photos she was wearing well it has TWO strings that tie around the neck like a choker and that shirt is even better then the robe to play with. I think its in the backyard now.

Okay blogosphere I'm back! Needed a little break for a few days!

I did not once again read way into the night.. reading makes me lose sleep. I was not reading a more "adult" twilight romance type series called the Night Huntress which is a romance between a vampire man and a half vampire woman. I did not fall in love and can't wait until the 4th book comes out in July!

I did not sign Kaila up for Kindergarten.. where does the time go? I did not also apply for a variance to Alana's school that is out of our boundaries but still in district because I want them together, to have the same schedule, the same activities, same picture days etc.

I did not check on Alana one afternoon to find this:

We do not have a very busy weekend ahead of us, special connections "carnival" Friday, my Mother's Network meeting Saturday (and Alana's soccer), and a birthday party at 321 Bounce on Sunday. Plus work Saturday and Sunday of course.

We never go to the park, nor play in the sprinklers.

I am not going to end this boring post now so I can go read everyone's blogs!

I did not have to clean up puke all over a toddler and his bed at 9am on Mother's Day.

I did not wake up late this morning and have to drive my kids to school an hour late :-X. I never turn off the alarm and go back to sleep!

Kaila is not "graduating" out of the developmental preschool at the end of the week, she no longer qualifies. I knew she didn't and was going to typical kindergarten in the fall.. she grew out of her speech/social delay a LONG time ago and was there mostly just because she had an older sibling with Autism. I thought they were going to let her finish the year but she's getting an extended summer vacation.

I am not positively giddy that I got a universal remote for our garage door opener and can now come and go very easily!

I did not join my mom, sister, cousins after work on Saturday for a little pre mothers day night out. A CRAZY woman did not keep bugging us, her friend did not put her leg on the table, think a male dog marking his territory..and proceed to "dance" trying to get my mom's boyfriend to dance. She did not try to put money into the jukebox.. when there was a live band, she did not do this because my mom's boyfriends excuse to not dance was because he liked country music.. so she was trying to find him some. She did not start flashing all over the dance floor repeatedly. I was not reminded why I am usually a homebody and in bed by midnight at the lastest lol.

I did not get these for Mothers Day..

The Yellow Flowers were from work, that they gave all the Mommy Team members. The roses are from "the daddy" lol.

My lovely little girls did not each bring me home a potted flower from school. First Alana, then Kaila.

Not Me Monday

Donni did not poop out of his diaper during nap time yesterday, I did not then flip the light switch so I could see and clean it up only to realize it had burnt out.

I did not give Donni a fast bath.. gag.

It did not take me at least 30 minutes to change the lightbulb. I am not telling you why. The stupid light cover was not held on by round top screws. no divits for a screwdriver, phillips or flathead. I could not find any pliers.. I was not standing on a chair, I could not see anything I was doing.

Alana was not in the bath tub this entire time of my frustration, so kindly filling my bathroom floor with an inch of bathwater.

One day I did not realize in public that I had put my shirt on inside out.

Alana did not learn how to get down from her bunk bed while I was at work last night, we did not have to jimmy rig it once again to try and thwart this sleep disrupting behavior. I do not realize that one day it will be impossible to thwart this but for now I am content that it is possible at least part-time and this keeps me sane.

Donni did not learn how to get on the couch by himself last night either. There goes my safe out of reach spot on top of the couch... nothing is safe anymore.

I did not sponsor a child from India for 32$ a month... for if I did there wouldnt be a post about it. I do not believe this child may have Turner Syndrome.

I did not find the coolest puzzles at a yard sale Saturday.... from 1969. With all the pieces. And a few more of road runner etc.. I will share those with my next TEACCH post. I do not have puzzles for a month that are missing a piece.. much less 40 years with all the pieces.

My child would never come out of the bathroom with TP hanging from said child's butt. Said child would not then say mom look I have a tail!! ahahahaha... I am not naming said child.. cough cough.. Kaila...cough.

I did not attend a baby shower this weekend, my grandma was not there and I did not ask her what a breathe mint said on it.. just so I could steal her little binky necklace. She did not answer me and then realize she had just said the forsaken baby word. BWAHAHAHA!

I did not win the baby word scramble game.. I need to get out more.

My van did not get broken into and my radio/cd player stolen, along with my work bag that has my pens, papers, work card etc in it. The TV was not loose like they tried to steal it but got interrupted or something.

I did not leave my car unlocked.

My work bag did not have a spare key to my van in it.

My van is not destined to the garage until I can see how much it costs to change the locks or get an alarm if the locks cost way too much.

Some guy did not pull up behind my driveway and take a picture... he said he was doing it to show someone was living here for the mortgage company and they do it all the time. I pray it's normal and not because the people who own this house are not paying on their mortgage.

Alana did not miss 2 1/2 days of school last week after spring break as well as today and tomorrow because she is sick. She would be fine at school really but I know they would send her home for coughing too much especially since she doesnt cover her mouth.

I do not have to get up at 6:30am tomorrow to be at children's by 8:30am for Alana's heart check up.

I did not sleep in an extra 30 minutes this morning and get Kaila ready for school in 5 minutes.

I did not read the whole Twilight saga in 2 weeks. I certainly did not stay up until 5:30 one morning, and did not totally skip sleeping another day to do so. I also.. ahem.. did not skip posting my Thursday food post so I could read some more.

I am not taking my kids to Jump Planet tomorrow for special families night.

I am not bringing them home only to go out to PF Changs for a ladies night out celebration/birthday event.

I am not procrastinating enrolling Kaila for kindergarten because it just seems so final.. even though she has been in some sort of schooling since she was 18months old.

I did not get angry at twitter, not even once because my mobile settings are set to no text messages before 10am which in my time means it's like 1pm in the frozen tundra already... Missing vital information.

I have not refreshed MCKMAMA's page a million times to see if there was an update.

I did not get excited when I seen my contribution to Stellan's name gallery actually in the name gallery. I was not suprised that MCKMAMA had taken time to upload the pictures to the name gallery because I have been there before, well not exactly there but you get the idea.. where some mindless tasks are needed to keep you sane.

I do not keep praying that Stellan will kick this SVT and be home with PC and all the MSC.

I do not wish I was in the frozen tundra to help with the MSC, I even know how to cloth diaper. Bonus!

I did not get very sad when I saw the red eye photo of Stellan. Stellan GET WELL SOON! We are all praying for you!

In referring to my little "baby" son I would never refer to him as a dog. Who calls their son a dog?? Who cares if he devours ANY food that is given to him, that surely doesnt make him a dog.. sheesh.

It is not a small world, we did not run into Alana's morning bus driver at my cousin's daughter's (got that?) birthday party. He apparently is a family member somewhere down the line to my cousin's significant other.

Another older family member of my cousin's significant other was not flirting with every girl there after most of the kiddos were gone and alcohol was involved.. his wife was not there also.. sigh. He did not try to "walk" me to my van and tell me to warm up my van and he would sit with me while I warmed it up.. yeah I'm good thanks. He did not tell my aunt (said cousin's mother) when she was on the porch smoking (shame, shame) that now that her husband wasn't on the porch anymore he could get closer to her...needless to say she finished her cigarette early..

Alana did not jump in the bounce house my cousin rented for the day for.. 3 hours.. she did not get soaking wet because it was raining. Welcome to Seattle. I am not glad I always have a spare outfit for each kid in the van, just for times like these. Kaila did not jump her fair share either.

Alana's birthday is not this coming weekend :-X. I have so much to do and plan and oh my.. I better get on it.

There will not be 3 ponies in my yard. I am not making mini sandwiches and other snack foods like hardboiled eggs, deviled eggs, veggie and fruit trays, chips etc. Note to self: Make a shopping list.

Winter DID NOT say a big F U to Spring today..

I DID NOT volunteer to wait on a 23 top last night. Oh the joys.. Two of the kids DID NOT think they were just so cool and DID NOT ask me for a hefeweisen (I don't care its spelled wrong I am sure) and a bud light.. I CAN wait for my kids to be 10.

I DID NOT make Kaila do this because our roomba isn't a fan of this rug. Seriously she isn't Cinderella.. but IMO she should be!.. besides she is the biggest mess maker in this house.

A "nice" gentlemen today DID NOT ask me if it was okay to give Donni a soda.. umm No..seriously??

I DID NOT get "stuck" on the freeway for 45minutes because mulitple people were "stuck" in the snow. I DID NOT have to call Kaila's School Bus to ask them to please drop her off last instead of first because I wouldn't be "free" of said "stuck" cars anytime soon. Really a responsible parent would have some sort of back-up plan and would never be late.. even in the snow.

Because of above I DID NOT forgoe the first day of kindergarten signup/registration for Kaila next year.. there is always tomorrow... besides it's not like she was aware of said major life event lol.

And lastly I DID NOT go outside in my Pajamas and flip flops this morning to take snow pictures..which I WILL NOT share later.

How fitting that my 100th post is a Not Me Monday post... no 100 things about me sorry guys I know you are NOT disappointed. Maybe another day...

I did not bake this cake with the girls yesterday for the other halfs birthday only for him to bring home a cake that his kitchen peeps at work got for him... at least mine is home made with love :-P.

I am not going to eat a piece right now and its not even 10am yet..

I did not buy these balloons either..

I did not have to go into work last night, I had not been trying to get it off to go to dinner and I was not one of 5 people that were on call and I did not have to drag myself to work... grumbble grumble... Gosh Darnit..

At least I did not get off fairly early and we still made it to dinner.. where my girls were not very misbehaved.

One day this week Alana did not start singing.. suicidal, suicidal .. which are the lyrics to this song.. Bad mommy of the year award for me!

This was not soon followed by me playing this nice music instead. p.s. they are great songs and you can get a listen to the first bit of each one! Great movement songs.

The other half did not get a new stereo for his birthday to which Alana did not have fun playing with the remnants... The joys of being a kid with a big cardboard box... The photo has been photoshopped... because like I said she DID NOT do this :-P.

We do not have another birthday party to attend today.. do they ever end? This one is not at a jump house. The girls will not have a jumping beany blast..

I do not have to stop writing this so I can go fetch a gift for said party.. and my check..
